The project is built around three key ideas: functional planning, a warm neutral palette and clean architectural lines. Every decision – from storage systems to lighting – supports a quiet, mindful way of living.

Client and concept

The clients are a couple who spend a lot of time at home and value:

  • visual calm and order,
  • functional layouts without clutter,
  • materials that age well and do not go out of style quickly.

CYFR designed the interior as a coherent, calm space where transitions between zones are soft, and every element has a clear role. The shell is minimalistic, while warmth and depth appear through textures, light and tactile details.

Palette and materials

The base palette is natural and soft:

  • warm shades of beige and sand,
  • light and medium wood tones,
  • matte black accents in details and hardware.

This combination creates a cosy yet understated atmosphere. Instead of bright colour spots, the design uses:

  • contrast between light and shadow,
  • different textures of wood, fabric and stone,
  • balanced proportions of volumes and planes.

As a result, the interior feels timeless and calm rather than trendy and short-lived.

Living room and kitchen-dining area

The main space of the apartment is an open-plan living room combined with a kitchen-dining area. It is designed as a single flowing volume where you can relax, cook, work and host guests.

The living area is built on low, modular furniture and wide soft planes – a generous sofa, large area rugs and low tables. This keeps the centre of the room visually light and preserves the sense of air and openness.

Panoramic windows amplify natural light during the day. In the evening, the lighting scenario is taken over by:

  • integrated linear lighting,
  • accent pendants above the dining table or island,
  • local floor and table lamps.

The kitchen follows the "clean lines" concept:

  • fully integrated storage without visual noise,
  • built-in appliances,
  • a large island that works both as a functional worktop and as a place for communication – quick breakfasts, informal talks, preparation before dinner with guests.

All working elements of the kitchen are visually restrained, so the space reads as part of the living area rather than a separate technical zone.

Character of the project

The interior is built around the philosophy of a calm, conscious lifestyle. There are no random objects here – only what is truly needed and what works for the couple's daily routines.

Key principles:

  • functionality first, then decoration,
  • visual cleanliness and hidden storage instead of open clutter,
  • durable, tactile materials that can be comfortably used for many years.

Such a space suits a couple who value aesthetics and order, but do not want to live in a "museum". It is a living, warm minimalist apartment where you can exhale, slow down and focus on what matters.
